Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
In my opinion this is not a four star hotel by any standard. I understand that Paris is not exacty the place where you can rely that hotels are clean and nice but this was still a major disappointment. - room was dirty and crumpy * stains on the walls and mattres * shower was dirty * room was dusty - bed was extremely comfortable - When booking the rooms in Booked.net room rate was marketed as an ´opening offer´ * this normally implies that hotel is brand new which is not

The interior of the room is very ´French´, & with large window towards the street, facing a park. & the staffs is super nice & friendly. I especially like its convenient location, its very close to the Metro stop, & only 20mins walk to major sightseeing area.
It may have been many years since the hotel update the facilities, so some of it is quite wore out... e.g the shower is leaking & very difficult to close shower doors, the hair dryer fall off etc. May be its just this room.

Nothing! Don't stay here - it stinks / musty, leaky aircond in rooms which soaked carpet, drip drip all the time. Used bin to collect water dripping. Nothing done despite several requests - ditto other guests who changed rooms, but no improvement. Staff not motivated, dirty uniform 3 days in a row for one guy at reception. No sign of owner. Tiny 'double' room, toilet seat 5 cracks in it, nowhere to put toiletries. A spit of shampoo/showergel in sachets, cheapest soap I ever saw in France. Can't shower w/out flooding bathroom. Dirty carpets, poor lighting on 30- second timers in corridors 1metre wide. Unless you're blind/anorexic/no sense of smell, avoid it. Must have bought/bribed 4 stars - seen better in 2/3 star hotels. Hotel must rely on once-off bookings from tourists - no repeat business needed. Disgraceful.
Evitez svp!! Klima kaputt/undicht d.h. wasser aufs Tapete, komplett nass...ohne Schuhe geht's nicht. Keiner hat reagiert (andere Gäste hatten Zimmerwechsel, ohne Besserung). Es roch uberall nach Zigaretten u. Schimmel. Personal scheiss-egal, rezeptionist (männlich) mit schmutzige Uniform 3 x Tagelang! Badezimmer zu klein, WC-sessel 5 risse, Duschgel sachet evtl 5ml drin...Dusch ohne Boden zu überfluten unmöglich. Teppiche überall schmutzig, Korridor 1m breit, beleuchtung mit 30-sekunde Timers....

Design of the hotel, bar fridge in room, comfortable beds, convenient location to opera and main parisian sites.
Black carpets on level one....hard to see the stairs when walking up them because of the low lighting.
